Huh, pretty decent game actually.. Although the defense buildings aren't that useful (until you get to the boss that is). |

Lol, when I played it the first time, I didn't know about the boss and had 1 territory left to conquer, so I leisurely left them alive for about 12 days while I assembled an army of 25 green giants.Needless to say, that was terribly convenient. |

Angilion, I found the last strategy to be helpful also in the final boss battle - the one where you restore 60% of your dead troops. For benefit of others, my advice would be hit him with 25 samurai, then use the strategy when you're down to 4 or 5 left. This wave should wipe out most of his minions. Then hit him with ANOTHER 25 samurai, and pull the same trick of restoring. With luck, you go from say 4 samurai to 16-18, which gives you the staying power to finish the beast. If not, give 'im a third wave. Phew! |

I finally beat it just before my 22 green giants arrived, by using 25 samurai with earth power defence and supporting fire from each island, one after the other.Yay for me. |

The cthulu thing has a very strong melee attack, so I tried some wizards to blast it while the samurai stopped it advancing and attacked it.No go - the whole island summons enemies, which zoom over and kill the wizards. |

Start with the second from north, as screaminbean says, then take the north province. It's then easy to defeat all the human provinces. Build soldier research bases as you conquer, until you get 5. Then you can create samurai, who can storm everywhere......until you get to the final battle on the islands that appear in the northwest. 3 are easily stormed with 25 samurai, the the main one has the cthulu-thing. I'm currently slowly acquiring and moving an army of green giants to have a go at it, because everything else dies. 25 samurai with damage strategy and supporting fire can get it half dead, and that's the best I can do so far. Defence is easy enough, as I generate so much money I can just samurai the three islands leading from the main one. Bloody awful interface though, especially when it autozooms out for the new islands. You can zoom back in, though. |
