Thursday, October 29, 2009 6:53:58 PM "I believe I was born too smart, but you don't see me attempting to dumb myself down? It is a cross I must bear."Your fantasies again. It would be nice if IAB actually allowed the stated 1000 characters per post, rather than an apparently somewhat random smaller amount.
It's not a major thing for a business to get right. Like covertly changing people's posts rather than just censoring them. Shoddy business, at best. |

Thursday, October 29, 2009 6:38:35 PM "Angillon, genitalia are a direct expression of chromosomes and DNA structure."You need to learn more about human biology. Wolffian and Mullerian ducts are a direct expression of genes, but everyone starts with both of them. Which type of genitalia a person has depends on hormone levels, not genes. "He can lop off his penis and get as many implants as he wants but he will never be a female." You're showing your ignorance of a sex change process, to add to your ignorance of human biology. "Hey, everyone is free to live their own lies and fantasies, that's what helps us all along." I agree. Which is convenient for your fantasies. "Either way you look at it (he feels like he's the wrong sex or he's completely diluted), neither option screams rational well grounded individual." There was a problem, she had it fixed. That's rational. "I believe I was born too smart, but you don't see me attempting to dumb myself down? It is a |

Wednesday, October 28, 2009 7:43:23 PM I wish it wasn't so casually normal to group people together like that and treat it as a defining feature.Would I vote for an "LBGT politician"? Would I hell. Why would I want to vote for someone devoted to promoting stereotyping and division simultaneously? Why would I want to vote for someone who is standing for election on that basis alone, rather than on political issues? Would I vote for a person who happened to be bisexual, homosexual and/or transsexual? Maybe, it depends on the person. And, shock! horror!, I wouldn't exclude people who were straight and the same sex they started off as! All this fuss over trivialities and most of the people claiming to want less prejudice and division merrily promoting both and not even realising the contradiction. Damn, how frustrating. |

Wednesday, October 28, 2009 4:01:40 PM "*sigh* Even THAT guys got bigger boobs than me!"He's not a guy any more. Boob job, anyway. Have any size you like with a boob job. They have a woman's genitalia and a woman's secondary sexual characteristics. So they're a woman. Sure, they probably have a type X sex chromosome, but that doesn't really matter. It isn't even that clear-cut in nature - some people have a type X sex chromosome but are female from birth. |

Wednesday, October 28, 2009 6:12:10 AM ghostofme: That's like saying that homosexuality is a choice because gay people choose to act on it by having sex with people of the same gender as themselves.Sure, having the actual operation is a choice, just like a man actually having sex with another man is a choice. But the feelings the person feels are not a choice. It's the desire, the wanting to do these things that makes you homosexual or transgender, not whether you actually do them or not. That's what Spider_sol and I were saying. |

Tuesday, October 27, 2009 11:19:50 PM "It is the same with homosexuality. Being transgender is not a choice just like being gay or straight isn't a choice."Wait, what?! While the debate whether homosexuality being a choice is very different, getting a sex change is a choice. It's not like this guy woke up one day with a vag and was like, "Okay, I can roll with this." No, he chose to go that route. Using the argument of "a woman born in a man's body" for this is stupid. Whether or not there is any factual evidence of that, this person still made a choice to change sexes. And as for this guy (chick?) running for mayor, I don't see any problems with it. |
